Blessing Petroleum SA, a Cameroonian company specializing in the storage and distribution of petroleum products, is seeking a Deputy Sales Director based in Douala as part of its business development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Sales Director, you will contribute to defining, leading, and overseeing the sales strategy of Blessing Petroleum SA, with the aim of increasing profitability, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring the sustainability of operations.
You will also be responsible for developing market share and implementing sales standards to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty. MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in defining and implementing the sales strategy of Blessing Petroleum, in collaboration with the Sales Director and according to the guidelines of the General Management;
Manage sales operations, set sales team objectives, monitor results, and adjust the strategy as needed;
Supervise debt collection operations and establish settlement agreements;
Lead and motivate the sales team, supporting its operational and tactical deployment under the supervision of the Sales Director;
Conduct competitive and strategic intelligence for business development;
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in the sector;
Ensure the application of professional ethics and CSR policy within the sales department;
Provide regular activity reporting.

REQUIRED PROFILE:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BAC +4/+5) in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or any other related field;
Excellent negotiation and sales skills;
Proven experience in petroleum product distribution;
Proficiency in business analysis and profitability studies;
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English;
Minimum of 8 years of successful professional experience, including 3 years in a similar position;
Valid Category B driver’s license.
Desired qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
Knowledge of accounting and project management;
Ability to develop and manage an operational budget;
Sound knowledge of lubricants and the petroleum value chain;
Skills in writing procedures.
