The Minister of Transport brings to the attention of national and international public opinion that a
Training competition for 240 road safety experts will take place on Saturday July 13, 2024, at the single center of Yaoundé
in the following sectors:
Driving license and road safety delegates;
Driving license and road safety inspectors.
To this end, it invites people interested in the said competition to consult the eligibility conditions on the website of the Ministry of Transport at the address: www.concours.mintransports.cm . /-

CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED FOR THE COMPETITION FOR 240 ROAD SAFETY EXPERTS
The competition is open to any Cameroonian or foreign candidate of both sexes in the following sectors:
Driving License and Road Safety Delegates (DPCSR): 80 places including 10 internal;
Driving License and Road Safety Inspectors (IPCSR): 160 places including 20 internal.
1- REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
1.1 EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
– hold a category “B” driving license;
– hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma;
– be at least 19 years old and 32 years old at the most on the deadline for submitting competition applications.
1.2 INTERNAL CANDIDATES
– hold a category “B” driving license;
– have a length of service of at least five (5) years;
– hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma; – be aged 45 or less on the deadline for submitting competition applications.
1.3 FOR FOREIGN CANDIDATES
– hold a category “B” driving license;
– be at least 19 years old and 32 years old at the most on the deadline for submitting competition applications; – hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma; – have a passport or a residence permit which covers the entire duration of training.
II – APPLICATION FILE
Complete application files must be submitted to the Regional Transport Delegations or to the Sub-regional Road Safety and Research Institute (ISSERR) no later than June 7, 2024, the strict deadline, and include the following documents:
a registration form downloadable from the Ministry of Transport website or to be collected when submitting the application;
a handwritten request stamped at 1500 FCFA addressed to the Minister of Transport and specifying the training cycle requested; six (06) recent 4×4 photos in color/white background bearing on the back the surnames, first names, date and place of birth of the candidate • a certificate of presentation of the original of the required diploma; a certified photocopy of the required diploma; a certified photocopy of the birth certificate; a certified photocopy of the national identity card; a certified photocopy of the residence permit covering the entire training period for the foreign candidate; a certified photocopy of the driving license. For foreign candidates, add a certificate of authenticity of said permit; a medical certificate signed by an administration doctor, attesting that the candidate is physically and mentally fit to practice the profession (the Road Safety Expert, in relation to the driving of light and heavy vehicles; a large envelope stamped at 500 Fcfa (postal stamp) bearing the candidate’s full address; an extract from the criminal record (bulletin no. 3) dating back no more than three (03) months; a certificate of effective presence signed by the hierarchical superior of the place of employment for internal candidates; no more than three (03) months old; a receipt justifying payment, to the Regional Transport Delegate, of the registration fees of 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) FCFA for external candidates and 40,000 (forty thousand) for external candidates; internal candidates
NB: – All certified compliant documents must be no more than three (03) months old.
Regarding candidates meeting the conditions required for this competition and holders of the CAPEC (Certificate of Professional Aptitude for Teaching); Driving motor vehicles) and a category “C” driving license, their eligibility will be made directly for the 21st year based on file studies.

IV- LOCATION AND DURATION OF TRAINING
The training will take place at the Sub-regional Institute of Road Safety and Research (ISSERR) located in Yaoundé for a period of:
two (02) years for Driving License and Road Safety Inspectors (IPCSR); three (03) years for Driving License and Road Safety Delegates (DPCSR).

The general knowledge test is part of the final year program;
The professional summary test will cover road signs, the highway code, the environment, the vehicle, rescue, the road and the highway.
