The Opportunity
We are looking for Marketing Agents who will play a key role in expanding Kakipi’s footprint across schools and educational institutions. This is a performance-driven role with a clear pathway: start with a 3-month probation period, and upon successful completion based on clear targets, transition into a full-time permanent position with enhanced compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and build a pipeline of potential school clients (primary schools, colleges, training centers) through calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and field visits.
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and customized presentations (virtual and in-person) to showcase how Kakipi solves real school pain points.
Manage the end-to-end sales process β€” from first contact through needs analysis, proposal, negotiation, closing, and smooth onboarding.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads, demos delivered, trials started, and paid subscriptions closed.
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with school owners, principals, administrators, and education decision-makers.
Support targeted marketing campaigns and generate content/ideas for reaching the education sector effectively.
Represent Kakipi professionally at education events, school fairs, webinars, and partnership meetings.
Provide valuable market feedback and customer insights to help improve the product and go-to-market strategy.
Profil recherchΓ© pour le poste
HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, IT, or a related field (or equivalent proven experience).
At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or customer acquisition. Experience selling SaaS, EdTech, or to schools/educational institutions is a strong advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French. Proficiency in English is a plus.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient β€” comfortable with a mix of office work, virtual meetings, and field visits to schools.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to engage and influence school decision-makers.
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new SaaS platforms and CRM tools. Own laptop and reliable internet required.
Willingness to travel within Douala and surrounding regions for school visits and events.
Passion for education and technology. You believe in the power of good software to transform how schools operate.
What We Offer
Probation Period
3 months of structured onboarding, training, mentorship, and clear performance milestones (leads generated, demos, conversions).

Compensation During Probation
Performance-based package: base allowance + attractive commission on closed deals and activated subscriptions. High earners can significantly outperform a traditional base salary.

Path to Full-Time
Successful candidates who meet or exceed targets will receive a full permanent job offer with competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, performance bonuses, and benefits.
