POSITION MISSIONS • e Patient care and thus contribute to reducing the risk of illness or subsequent complications through appropriate information, questions and advice,
• Prevention and treatment of HIV/STI infections, with a view to treatment and therapeutic monitoring, according to national guidelines e Diagnose, treat and prevent diseases, e Promote the health and well-being of patients.
MAIN TASKS:
Having responsibility for the medical service, the General Practitioner will be responsible for:
Carrying out medical consultations and diagnosing routine illnesses;
Listen to the patient, their needs/complaints and build a relationship of trust to promote long-term exchange;
Provide routine general medicine consultations and health check-ups;
Provide care and prescribe medications capable of treating the ailments identified;
Provide psychological and social assistance to the patient and their family;
Perform administrative functions related to patient care;
Supervise the care work carried out by nurses;
Work in collaboration with the medical team to ensure comprehensive patient care;
Promote health education and advise patients on healthy lifestyles;
Develop treatment plans and follow-ups for patients with chronic illnesses or complications,
Maintain complete and accurate medical records for each patient;
Refer the patient, if necessary, to a specialist doctor;
Respect ethical and professional standards in health care;
Also intervene in other sectors of activity where your skills will be necessary.
Education/training – Hold a Diploma in General Medicine (NB: no equivalence will be accepted
Requirements/Required experience Proof of professional experience of at least 5 years as a general practitioner and at least 2 years in projects HIV and other community projects;
Be registered with the Council of the National Order of Physicians of Cameroon Master the HIV/STI target;
Have knowledge in mental health and psychology;
Have good knowledge of the procedures for monitoring and evaluation of HIV projects •
Mastery of IT tools;
Have a good knowledge of French; Knowledge of English is an asset;
Have knowledge of the management of a business cycle.

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a mid-day break of one time
