ABOUT OLAM AGRI
Olam Agri is recruiting a Revenue Insurance Analyst to strengthen its revenue assurance, commercial compliance, and financial control processes within its Grains business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, identifying revenue leakages, ensuring data integrity, and strengthening internal controls across sales and distribution operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales and Commercial Auditing
- Conduct sales, trade, and distributor audits to ensure compliance with pricing policies, trade schemes, contractual agreements, and commercial standards.
- Review commercial transactions and identify deviations from established policies.
2. Revenue Assurance and Risk Management
- Identify and investigate revenue leakages, unauthorized discounts, duplicate claims, pricing discrepancies, and reporting variances.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify fraud risks and process weaknesses.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to strengthen compliance and governance.
3. Data Verification and Analysis
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of sales, inventory, customer, and financial data across SAP and other reporting systems.
- Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, discrepancies, and potential risks.
- Analyze sales performance trends and investigate exceptions.
4. Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare audit reports and document findings.
- Track the implementation of corrective action plans.
- Support month-end reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with commercial and financial policies.
5. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Internal Audit teams.
- Collaborate with distributors and customers to resolve issues.
- Support investigations and promote continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Commercial Audit, Revenue Assurance, Sales Operations, or Finance.
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, milling, agribusiness, or distribution businesses is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of sales processes, trade promotions, pricing controls, and credit management.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify anomalies.
Personal Qualities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Results-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel across Cameroon for field audits and market visits.
