POSITION TO BE FILLED: LOADING AGENT
1. Main Mission
The Loading Agent’s main mission is to ensure baggage handling operations in accordance with safety and security conditions.
2. Activities and Responsibilities
– Take charge of passengers’ baggage;
– Sort baggage by destination in the gallery according to the stopover codes;
– Order the storage of baggage and parcels on/in the loading units (ULDs)
– Drive baggage and container trolleys on the runway – Ensure the unloading/loading of baggage, parcels, freight and mail;
– Ensure the closing of the guillotines;
– Ensure the integrity of the loading units (ULDs) is maintained.
3. Profile Required
Training and Experience BEPC / equivalent
– Category B driving license;
Technical skills
– Ability to carry, load/unload goods or products, paying particular attention to the respect of luggage/packages;
– Ability to respect safety instructions relating to the products handled and the work environment;
– Ability to adapt handling conditions to different products;
– Ability to organize the storage of products according to the available space and packaging.
Behavioral skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team; Be flexible, know how to adapt;
– Have strong interpersonal skills (listening, empathy, dialogue)
– Have self-control;
– Have a sense of organization and rigor.
Other criteria
Be 35 years old at most.
4. Working Conditions
– Workplace: Douala and Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airports.
“Contract details: 2-year fixed-term contract, possibly renewable once. – Remuneration: According to the ADC SA salary scale.
