CAMRAIL Launches a Major Recruitment: Come and Shape the Future of Rail Transport!

Recruitment competition for 10 Driver Assistants and 25 Laborers – CAMRAIL

As part of the partnership agreement which links the company CAMRAIL to the Institute of Professional Training for railway professions in Central Africa, IMEFAC, for the training of young Cameroonians in basic railway professions,

The Director General of CAMRAIL and the IMEFAC, announce the joint launch of a competition for the recruitment of ten (10) Driver Assistants, twenty-five (25) Laborers according to the following schedule and practical terms:

 I. REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITION

Registration for the competition is done at one of the following addresses: www.imefac.org or https://www.camrail.net/   no later than June 7, 2024.

Persons meeting the following conditions may apply: Helper-Driver : Aged 20 to 25 and holder of a scientific or technical Baccalaureate (C, E, F1, F2, F3, BT MA) or a recognized equivalent diploma. Laborer agent: Aged 20 to 25 and holder of a Baccalaureate or a recognized equivalent diploma. Each candidate will have to choose a profession and an examination center. II. DATE AND LOCATIONS OF THE COMPETITION: The competition will take place on Saturday June 15, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. sharp in the following examination centers: Douala: IMEFAC headquarters opposite CAMRAIL medical center in Bassa, Yaoundé: Etoa-Meki public school, Ngaoundéré: Enieg bilingual. III. CONSTITUTION OF APPLICATION FILES: Documents to be provided during online registration (In PDF or JPEG format)  A certified photocopy of the required diploma dating less than three (03) months;  A certified photocopy of the birth certificate dating from Candidates will present themselves 30 minutes before the time of the first less than three (03) months; A certified photocopy of the national identity card;  A curriculum vitae with the candidate’s full address/telephone number;  A payment receipt for the sum of 15,000 CFA francs (Fifteen thousand CFA francs). This sum represents 50% of the total cost of 30,000 (Thirty Thousand FCFA) of which the remaining part is subsidized by CAMRAIL Afriland First Bank Account Number : CM 21 1000 5000 2007 3640 6100111,  Account Holder: Professional Training Institute for Railway Professions in central Africa. NB: Competition fees are non-refundable. IV. THE STAGES OF THE COMPETITION: The competition will take place in three stages: Written tests, Medical aptitude examinations, Psychotechnical tests.

THE WRITTEN TESTS
The tests will cover the following subjects:

Professions: Operator and driver assistant:
Subjects: Text study, general knowledge and mathematics
Elimination score: 08/20

Candidates will present themselves 30 minutes before the time of the first test in front of the examination rooms with the National Identity Card and the receipt for submitting the file. They must not carry any paper or document.

The composition and draft sheets will be given to them in the room.
The eligibility average at the end of the written tests is greater than or equal to 12/20 and without eliminatory.

MEDICAL FITNESS VISITS AND PSYCHOTECHNICAL TESTS

Only candidates declared eligible following the written tests will be invited to take the medical aptitude examinations and psychotechnical tests.

The eligibility results, the final results of the competition and the start date of the training will be published on the sites www.imefac.org and www.camrall.net

Candidates declared definitively admitted must register at the Professional Training Institute for railway professions in Central Africa (IMEFAC) in Douala upon payment of training costs which will be communicated later and half of which will be covered by CAMRAIL.
