We have more than 50 years of experience in the most varied fields, whether it is the promotion of the economy and employment, that of peace and security or even themes linked to energy and the environment. GIZ’s varied expertise is appreciated worldwide and is in demand by the German Federal Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations, the private sector and governments of other countries. We collaborate with businesses, civil society actors and scientific organizations and thus contribute to effective interaction between development policy and other areas of political action. Our main client is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
