Job Description:
Serenity Medical Center is seeking a qualified and caring midwife/obstetrician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to pregnant women and newborns, including prenatal consultations, delivery, and postnatal care. In addition to maternity responsibilities, the candidate will support general nursing duties in the various departments as needed.
Main responsibilities:
· Carry out prenatal consultations and monitor pregnancies
· Support normal deliveries and provide immediate care to newborns
· Provide postnatal monitoring and support mothers with breastfeeding
· Detect and refer obstetric complications quickly
· Administer medications and monitor patients’ vital signs
· Participate in general nursing care: dressings, injections, monitoring of hospitalized patients
· Maintain medical records and participate in patient health education
· Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols
· Participate in community activities
Profile sought:
· Qualified midwife/midwifery specialist
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a health training program
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to work under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team
