JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the development of our activities, SESAM’MARKET, a company specializing in agri-food distribution, is looking for a Pastry Chef for its point of sale located in Bangue – Douala.
YOUR MAIN MISSIONS
Under the supervision of the Bakery and Ready Meals Manager , you will be responsible for producing pastries and Viennese pastries daily according to the company’s quality standards. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and present a variety of pastry products (cakes, pies, desserts, etc.)
- Make artisanal pastries : croissants, pain au chocolat, brioches, etc.
- Serve customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Strictly enforce food hygiene and safety standards
- Ensure the workstation is in good condition and report to the line manager
RESEARCH PROFILE
- Vocational training in pastry/Viennese pastries (CEP, CAP, BEPC or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Versatility appreciated: knowledge of other trades in the traditional fresh sector (bakery, delicatessen, etc.)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Mastery of manufacturing techniques for pastry and Viennese pastries
- Knowledge of hygiene , traceability and storage rules for fresh products
- Ability to work independently while respecting internal procedures

- Team spirit, sense of organization and rigor
- Flexible hours and ability to work under pressure
- Motivation to achieve quality and performance objectives
