JOB VACANCY
GLOBAL SECURITY SYSTEM is recruiting four (4) Security Controllers to strengthen its operational teams in Douala.
The Security Controller will be responsible for patrolling, supervising and deploying security officers across assigned sites, while ensuring effective staffing and coverage of all security posts.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Controller will work under the supervision of the Head of Operational and Intervention Teams, in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator and Site Supervisors.
The role requires rigour, mobility and strong leadership skills to maintain service quality and ensure client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Ensure the effective presence of security officers at all assigned posts.
– Monitor officers’ professional appearance and uniform standards, including badges, uniforms, cleanliness and grooming.
– Verify the compliance of personnel files for newly recruited employees in accordance with HR procedures.
– Regularly remind security officers of safety instructions and site-specific procedures.
– Prepare incident reports and submit them to the relevant supervisors.
– Participate in field recruitment activities and the training of newly recruited security officers.
– Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned sites.
– Identify and respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
– Minimum education: Baccalaureate / High School Diploma.
– Age: 25–40 years.
– Driving licence: Category A licence or proven ability to ride a motorcycle.
– Knowledge of occupational health and safety policies.
– Good understanding of the code of conduct and duty of care.
– Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills.
– Excellent attention to detail and reporting abilities.
– Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate teams.
– Flexibility, commitment and strong sense of service.
– Good written and verbal communication skills.
