The Accountant will have overall responsibility for managing the financial and tax operations of the head office and other branches of the company. Specifically, their duties will include:

– Enter supporting documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers, declarations, etc.)
– Create databases for the different tracking methods;
Cash Flow Monitoring (25%)
– Control the flow of money;
– Prepare cash reports and report needs in a timely manner;
– Ensure the analysis and justification of operations in order to produce consistent and reliable financial statements;
– Regularly analyze and justify the balances in order to detect any discrepancies;
– Prepare the various payment orders;
– Develop a standard list of supporting documents to be provided for each type of expense;
– Monitor the management of bank accounts, including related documentation;
– Prepare financial reports;
– Prepare the budgets
Invoice and payment management (10%)
– Prepare customer invoices;
– Track and compare invoices from operational staff;
– Prepare and anticipate payment deadlines;
– Gradually establish and monitor the company’s accounting management protocols;
Internal control and inventory management (15%)
– Check stock movements and inventories;
– Verify the consistency between physical stocks and accounting stocks;
Preparation of tax and social security returns (10%)
– Update the company’s tax file;
– Ensure the monitoring of staff social security records
Customer and supplier monitoring (10%)
– Create and update customer and supplier accounts;
– Monitor the status of collections, advances, down payments, and rebates
Administrative management (15%)
– Ensure the systematic, digital and physical archiving of accounting documents and records;
– Actively participate in tax supervision, audit and internal and external control work;
– Production of reports
Qualifications and skills required :
• Have a degree of at least BAC+3 in Accounting, Finance or Management Control ;
• Have at least 1 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance in a company with a strong import focus;
Having proven skills in taxation will be an asset;
• Have a very good command of computer tools (accounting software, Office suite, SAGE…);
