Location: Douala

Main Mission:
Reporting to the Head of the Accounting and Tax Department, your mission will be to supervise and coordinate
all activities related to technical accounting, while ensuring the reliability of accounting data and compliance with
regulatory standards.
Job Content:
• Manage and supervise accounting operations related to the company’s Non-Life technical activity;
• Control technical provisions and their correct accounting in the financial statements;


• Ensure the compliance of technical accounting entries with CIMA standards;
• Prepare and submit the Non-Life technical financial statements required by regulations;
• Monitor premiums, provisions, claims, and commissions of intermediaries and general agents;
• Analyze Non-Life technical accounts and propose adjustments if necessary;
• Guarantee the accuracy of reconciliations between technical accounts and operational data;
• Participate in the preparation of CIMA consolidation statements;
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors on related activities;
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards related to non-life technical accounting;
• Train and mentor the team under your responsibility to ensure continuous skills development.
Required Profile
• Degree: Bachelor’s +4/5 in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, or any other equivalent degree.
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in technical accounting, ideally in the insurance sector, audit firms, or
financial companies; with a good understanding of CIMA standards, the calculation of technical provisions, monitoring of
cash receipts, and the ORASS software.
Skills:
• Proficiency in CIMA standards and the accounting specificities related to non-life insurance.
• Ability to record and validate technical accounting transactions.
• Expertise in managing technical accounts and provisions for non-life insurance.
• Ability to produce and analyze detailed financial statements.
• Ability to analyze accounting data and detect anomalies.
• Proficiency in using Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Proven team management skills.
