Responsibilities:
Working with and under the supervision of a registered nurse, the healthcare assistant provides various types of care to patients and addresses their healthcare needs.

• Assessing patients’ clinical condition, observing and measuring key health parameters.
• Assisting the registered nurse in providing appropriate and varied care.
• Maintaining the immediate environment of patients and making beds.
• Maintaining medical equipment.
• Assisting with the management of the small pharmacy.
• Communicating observations orally and in writing to ensure continuity of care.
• Welcoming and mentoring trainees when necessary.
Profiles:
• Nursing Assistant Diploma
• Years of Experience: 0-3 years
Required Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and empathetic skills.
• Personal Qualities: High moral character, self-motivated, versatile, and meticulous.
• Discretion and restraint.
• Knowledge of social media and computer skills is desirable.
Note 1: Must reside in the Yaoundé II – SOA area (Nkolfoulou, Ngousso, Eleveur, etc.) and/or be willing to be housed on-site during the week (Monday to Friday).
