Pool Nurse Supervisor
To carry out its activities and to strengthen its pool of replacements, Médecins Sans
Frontières is looking for Nurse Supervisors as part of the sustainable
cholera prevention project in the Djoungolo Health District.
Work location: Yaoundé with travel to projects
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal Start date: Depending on the needs of the project Direct manager: Nursing manager Level: 08 according to the MSF salary scale Benefit: 100% health insurance (employee and legally recognized beneficiary) RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, organize and evaluate nursing activities in accordance with MSF values, policies and protocols. • Supervise and coordinate a team of nurses: weekly planning, monitoring of leave and absences, performance evaluation, identification and monitoring of training needs. • Directly participate in nursing care or anesthetic procedures if necessary, in order to optimize resources and ensure continuity of services. • Implement, monitor and enforce hygiene and care protocols within the team. • Supervise the management of the decentralized pharmacy and medical equipment (orders, stock monitoring, storage, inventories, disposal of expired products). • Ensure that all staff handling medical devices are qualified and trained in their use and maintenance. • Organize and/or supervise administrative tasks related to care (patient records, transfers, reports, statistics, data collection and analysis). • Produce regular reports on activities and results to facilitate decision-making. Selection Criteria Education State diploma in nursing required. Experience Minimum 2 years of professional experience in nursing. Experience with MSF or another humanitarian NGO preferred. Languages ​​Essential knowledge of the mission language (French and/or English) and the local language Knowledge Mastery of IT tools (Word, Excel, Internet) Skills • Sense of results and quality • Teamwork and cooperation • Flexibility of behavior • Adherence to MSF principles • Stress management Composition of files:
