Europe Afrique Services (EAS), a company specializing in outsourcing and
human resources management, is recruiting a Securities Operations Officer for a 6-month contract with a major, prestigious bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Securities Operations Officer will be responsible for processing
Securities Transactions for the Group’s retail and institutional clients, as well as
other distributors.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Prepare and analyze Corporate Action files and manage client communications;
• Process financial and money market orders
; • Monitor the accounting of transactions
; • Reconcile SWIFT data related to Treasury and OTA subscriptions
with the Treasury and Accounting teams
; • Analyze transactions to ensure the smooth execution and completion
of client instructions;
• Collect and process client instructions (analysis, formatting, etc.);
• Monitor anomalies and processing rejections;
• Ensure the timely and effective reporting of information to management and the
rest of the team;
• Manage outstanding accounting items;
• Participate in the development and updating of procedures and
technical specifications;
• Process the closing of corporate actions (calculating commissions, applying and
verifying the impact of securities and cash on client accounts, etc.);
• Maintain the activity’s documentation environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE • You have at least 2 years of experience in similar
roles . • You have a good understanding of the financial markets in the CEMAC region. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Education Level: Bachelor’s degree (BAC+4/5) in Banking and Finance or Accounting and Finance. Languages and Other Skills : – French: Fluent – English: Professional . Contract Duration: 6 months.
