ACMS is seeking highly qualified candidates (HiF) to carry out
Data Analyst duties for a project.
Who are we recruiting? The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing project
data . Essential duties . Extract and clean data from various sources ( international DHS databases, MICS, grant reports, administrative databases); Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses on health data; Prepare datasets for analysis (data wrangling, transformation); Contribute to the production of data analysis reports and summaries; Assist the Senior Data Scientist in the development of statistical models; Document extraction and analysis processes to ensure reproducibility; Participate in data quality control. Required qualifications and skills: Hold a Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, data science, econometrics, or a related field; (8 points) Have at least 3 years of experience in data analysis (ideally in the health sector); (8 points) Advanced proficiency in R or Python for data analysis; (8 points) Good knowledge of STATA, SPSS or SAS (8 points); References and other desired skills: . Experience in handling large databases (data cleaning, data wrangling); . Knowledge of DHS, tUICS or other international health databases ; . Ability to produce clear visualizations (ggplot2, matplotlib, etc.); o Experience working with health program data in Africa is an asset; . Fluency in French and a working knowledge of English.
